Terms of Use

Last updated November 3, 2026

Maison Moi is a personal wardrobe app. These terms are the agreement between you and Maison Moi when you use the app and this website. By creating an account or using Maison Moi, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

Your account

Your photos and content

What you add stays yours. That includes photos, closet details, notes and links. You give us permission to store, copy, resize and display it only as needed to run Maison Moi for you, such as saving your closet and syncing it across your devices. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from routine backups, which clear within 30 days.

Only add photos you have the right to use. That means photos you took yourself, or photos you have permission to use. You're responsible for what you upload.

What you can't do

We may remove content that breaks these terms, and we may suspend or close accounts that do, including accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright.

Copyright complaints and takedowns

We respect copyright and remove infringing content when we're told about it. If you believe something on Maison Moi infringes your copyright, email hello@maisonmoi.app with the subject "Copyright takedown notice" and include:

When we receive a complete notice, we'll remove or disable the content promptly and let the person who added it know.

If your content was removed by mistake, you can send us a counter-notice at the same address. Include your name, address, phone number and email address; what was removed and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or, if you're outside the United States, any district where Maison Moi may be found) and to accept service of process from the person who complained; and your signature. We'll send it to the person who complained. Unless they tell us within 10 to 14 business days that they've filed a court action, we may restore the content.

Knowingly false claims in a notice or counter-notice can make you liable for damages.

Maison Moi's own content

The app's code, design, name, logo and text belong to Maison Moi. You may use the app for your own personal, non-commercial wardrobe. These terms don't give you any other rights to them.

Fees

Maison Moi is free to use. We may introduce paid plans or fees in the future. If we do:

Suggestions and other sites

Outfit picks, weather, packing lists and shopping ideas are suggestions to help you decide, and they won't always be right. Maison Moi links to and reads from other sites, such as stores and Pinterest. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, products, prices or terms.

Availability and changes

Maison Moi may sometimes be down, and features may change. If you want to save a copy of your data, go to Profile, then Your data: Export .json downloads a full copy, and Export CSV downloads a spreadsheet of your closet.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law rules. This doesn't take away any rights you have under the laws of the place where you live that can't be waived.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. For important changes, we'll let you know in the app or by email first. If you keep using Maison Moi after a change takes effect, you agree to the new terms.
